Welcome to TIPBET.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you access or use the TIPBET website, web app, tipping service, membership or any related TIPBET service.

By creating an account, purchasing access or using TIPBET, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About TIPBET

TIPBET is an Australian horse-racing information and tipping service.

TIPBET provides racing selections, ratings, information, prices and other racing-related content designed to assist users in making their own decisions.

TIPBET is not a bookmaker and does not accept or place bets on behalf of customers.

Any decision to place a wager is entirely your own.

2. You must be 18 or over

TIPBET is intended only for people aged 18 years or older.

By creating an account, purchasing access or using TIPBET, you confirm that you are legally permitted to gamble in your jurisdiction.

If you are under 18, you must not use TIPBET.

3. Our tips are information, not a guarantee

Horse racing involves risk and uncertainty.

TIPBET uses racing information, form analysis, data and other factors to produce selections and related information.

• A TIPBET selection is not a guarantee that a horse will win or place.
• Past results do not guarantee future results.
• Racing conditions can change after information is published.
• Horses may be scratched and prices may change.
• Information supplied by third parties may change or occasionally be incorrect.
• Customers may lose some or all of the money they choose to wager.

TIPBET does not guarantee any particular financial return, strike rate, profit or betting result.

You remain solely responsible for deciding whether to place a bet, how much to wager and which bookmaker to use.

4. Responsible gambling

TIPBET is intended for entertainment and racing-information purposes.

Never wager more than you can afford to lose.

TIPBET encourages customers to remain in control of their gambling and to use the responsible gambling tools and support services available in Australia when required.

If gambling is no longer enjoyable or is causing financial or personal problems, we encourage you to stop betting and seek appropriate assistance.

5. Membership options

TIPBET may offer different ways to access the service, including a one-Saturday pass, monthly membership, annual membership and promotional membership offers.

The price, duration and inclusions of each option will be displayed before you purchase.

All prices displayed by TIPBET are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise and include GST where applicable.

6. One-Saturday Pass

A One-Saturday Pass provides access to TIPBET for the Saturday associated with the pass.

It is a one-off purchase and does not automatically renew into a subscription unless this is clearly disclosed and separately accepted by you.

Access expires after the relevant Saturday service period.

7. Monthly and annual subscriptions

Monthly and annual memberships are recurring subscriptions unless specifically described otherwise when purchased.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorise the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription amount when each billing period becomes due.

The renewal price and billing frequency will be shown when you purchase your subscription.

If you purchase a promotional introductory offer, the price applicable after the promotional period will be disclosed at the time of purchase.

We may change our subscription pricing in the future. Any change affecting an existing recurring subscription will be communicated as required and will apply to a future renewal rather than retrospectively changing an amount already paid.

8. Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel a recurring TIPBET subscription through the account section of TIPBET.

Cancellation prevents the next scheduled renewal.

Unless otherwise required by law, cancellation does not normally result in a refund for a membership period that has already been paid for.

You may continue using TIPBET until the end of the access period you have already purchased.

A One-Saturday Pass does not need to be cancelled because it does not automatically renew.

9. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

TIPBET does not generally provide refunds simply because you changed your mind, did not use your membership, disagreed with a selection, a selected horse lost, your bet lost, you missed a race or racing meeting, or you expected a different betting outcome.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a remedy, TIPBET will comply with those obligations.

10. Racing tips and publication times

TIPBET primarily provides selections for Australian horse racing.

The number of selections offered on a particular day may vary. TIPBET is not required to provide a minimum number of tips.

There may also be occasions where TIPBET determines that there are no suitable selections. In those circumstances, TIPBET may display no selection for a race, meeting or day.

The absence of a selection does not constitute a failure to provide the service.

TIPBET may add, remove or update a selection before a race where circumstances reasonably justify doing so, including scratchings, track changes, updated racing information or other relevant developments.

11. Late Mail and other classifications

TIPBET may identify certain selections using descriptions such as Late Mail, WIN, PLACE or other TIPBET classifications.

These descriptions reflect TIPBET's assessment at the relevant time and do not represent a guarantee that the horse will win, place or otherwise produce a successful betting result.

12. Bookmaker prices

TIPBET may display prices, odds or bookmaker information supplied by third-party data providers.

Bookmaker prices can change rapidly. While TIPBET takes reasonable steps to display accurate and current information, we cannot guarantee that a price displayed within TIPBET will still be available when you visit the bookmaker.

The final price, betting market and terms offered by the bookmaker at the time you place a bet will apply.

You should always check the bookmaker's current price and conditions before placing a wager.

13. Links to bookmakers

TIPBET may provide links that take you to a bookmaker or another third-party website or service.

These businesses are independent from TIPBET.

• That bookmaker's terms and conditions apply.
• The bookmaker controls its prices and markets.
• The bookmaker is responsible for accepting or rejecting wagers.
• TIPBET is not responsible for the operation or availability of the bookmaker's website, app or betting service.

The presence of a bookmaker or link within TIPBET does not guarantee that the bookmaker will offer a particular price or accept a particular wager.

14. Third-party information

Some information displayed by TIPBET may originate from third-party racing, pricing, results or data providers.

TIPBET takes reasonable steps when handling this information but cannot guarantee that every piece of third-party data will always be complete, uninterrupted or error-free.

Where TIPBET becomes aware of a significant error, we may correct or update the information.

15. Race results

Race results displayed within TIPBET are provided for convenience.

Official race results, steward decisions and bookmaker settlement rules take precedence over any information displayed by TIPBET.

Results can also change following protests, inquiries, disqualifications or other official decisions.

16. Accounts

Your TIPBET account is for your personal use. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity occurring through it.

You must not share paid TIPBET access with others, provide login details to avoid payment, reproduce or redistribute paid selections without permission, scrape TIPBET content, interfere with TIPBET systems or security, use TIPBET for unlawful purposes, or commercially reproduce or resell TIPBET information without written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account is being misused or these Terms & Conditions have been seriously breached.

17. Intellectual property

The TIPBET name, branding, website design, ratings, scoring systems, written content, graphics, presentation of selections and other original TIPBET material remain the property of TIPBET or its applicable licensors.

Purchasing a membership gives you personal access to the service. It does not transfer ownership of TIPBET content or give you permission to reproduce, publish, sell or commercially distribute that content.

18. Availability of the service

We aim to provide a reliable service, but internet-based services can occasionally experience interruptions.

TIPBET may temporarily be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, internet or hosting outages, third-party provider outages, racing-data interruptions, bookmaker or pricing-feed interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where practical, TIPBET will take reasonable steps to restore affected services.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

19. Limitation concerning betting losses

TIPBET provides racing information and selections. TIPBET does not control your betting decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TIPBET is not responsible for gambling losses arising merely because a TIPBET selection did not win or place, you chose to wager on a selection, available bookmaker odds changed, a bookmaker refused or limited a wager, or your interpretation or use of TIPBET information produced a different result from what you expected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

20. Changes to TIPBET

We may improve, update, add or remove features from TIPBET from time to time. We may also modify how information is presented or how the service operates.

Where a proposed change would materially affect a paid subscription or a customer's rights, we will deal with that change in accordance with applicable Australian law.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to TIPBET, our services or applicable law.

The current version will be published on the TIPBET website with the date it was last updated.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that a customer already has under applicable law.

22. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with the TIPBET Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how it is handled.

23. Contacting TIPBET

If you have a question about your account, payment, subscription or TIPBET service, please contact us using the Contact section of the TIPBET website.

We will take reasonable steps to respond to legitimate customer enquiries.

24. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of TIPBET and any wagering activity you undertake complies with the laws applicable in your State or Territory.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other laws that cannot legally be excluded.

Please gamble responsibly.

TIPBET provides racing information and selections. There are no guaranteed winners and gambling involves the risk of financial loss.
